We know that The Hunger Games: Catching Fire movie is one of the most phenomenal movies in the decade. It has garnered millions of fans from around the globe. Aside from that, the costume designer of the film has created gorgeous outfits that inspired many style lovers. Here are top five fashion moments in the movie.
1. The mockingjay outfit created by Cinna
I’ve written before about Katniss’s amazing transformation as a mockingjay. At first, she donned a massive wedding gown, the one that she’s supposed to wear on her wedding day. It was charred into bits by fake flames and she was shown wearing a mockingjay attire with feathers and wings. It was a fantastic creation and as perfect as a symbol of the upcoming revolution.
2. At the Capitol party
Many fans of the movie noticed the lead character’s gorgeous hairstyle for the Capitol party. Katniss perfectly showed off an edgy look coupled with fabulous makeup in the said scene. The black dress, floor-length frock, highlighted her pretty face. She completed it with sparkling accessories and defiant smile.
3. Katniss’s interview with Caesar Flickerman
Before Katniss showcased her mockingjay attire, she was interviewed by Caesar Flickerman. As usual, she was asked about personal questions. Later on, the people noticed her huge wedding gown. It was a beautiful creation. The full skirt and the intricate details are remarkably stylish.
4. At the tribute parade
During the tribute parade for the 75th Hunger Games or the Quarter Quell, all eyes are at the two victors from District 12. Unlike the 74th Hunger Games, they showcased more beautiful ensembles.
5. District 11 appearance
The outfit for Katniss in their District 11 victory tour was fabulous. It was a stylish jumpsuit paired with chic footwear. It was perfect for the emotional scene at District 11 victory tour.
The whole movie was a fashion realization for all of us. The outfit design for the people in District 12 is appropriate for the scenes before the Quarter Quell. President Snow donned perfect attire as a cruel leader. The victors who played at the Quarter Quell wore suitable ensembles. Johanna Mason looked fabulous on her 75th Hunger Games suit. Obviously, we noticed the stylish creations of Cinna.
